Posters research

Propaganda from Russia: What I like most about the Russian posters is the fact that they look pop-art like. I also like the use of only basic colors, although this may be because during that time period, those were the only available colors to print.
Out of the Russian propaganda, this was my favorite. This picture, I guess because of the people's faces reminds me of a circus or clowns. I also really like the flower print on the one person's shirt. Out of many of the other Russian pictures, these people looked the happiest and aren't scary.

WW2 posters: what i realized about the WW2 propaganda, is that they are all informational. Many of these posters are covered in text, and are explaining something. Personally, i do not like these posters because it is harder to gain an audiences attention, and many people do not want to stand there and read a poster. Many people will be seeing these posters on the go, and do not have time. Another trend is that many of these posters use the colors red, white, and blue. And if they do not include all 3 colors, they include at least 1.

I liked this poster because out of all of them, it is the most relatable. I think its ironic that men my age would have needed to enlist for the war many years ago.

Japanese vintage posters: i LOVE these posters. The colors and Japanese writing is so pretty. Although I'm nit sure what the posters say, many of the posters people seem happy and generally give off happy vibes.
I like this poster because it is peaceful. I also like how the writing characters are different colors, I'm guessing because they are separate ideas.
